Description

Ambrican 5 Tablet is a prescription medicine used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension (high pressure in the blood vessels that carry blood from the heart to the lungs). It even helps to improve your quality of life, exercising ability and delay in disease progression. Ambrican 5 Tablet may be taken with or without food but, it is better to take it in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. In case, you have missed any dose than it is better to take another one as soon as you remember it. Dizziness may occur as its side effect, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus. You may also have other side effects like, headache, palpitations, breathlessness, runny nose, feeling sick, diarrhea or fatigue. Let your doctor know if any of these side effects bothers you or persists for a longer duration.

Ambrican 5 Tablet relaxes the blood vessels and can help lower the blood pressure in the arteries of your lungs. You will be able to carry out your daily activities more easily and feel less tired or dizzy.

Benefits

Ambrican 5 Tablet is an endothelin receptor blocker. It blocks the action of endothelin (a natural substance) that causes blood vessels to narrow (constrict). This narrowing increases the pressure in the blood vessels of the lungs. Ambrican 5 Tablet helps relax these blood vessels and increases the supply of blood to the lungs.

How to use

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Ambrican 5 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Do not drive if these symptoms occur. - Kidney : CAUTION - Ambrican 5 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Ambrican 5 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Limited information is available on use of Ambrican 5 Tablet in these patients. No dose adjustment is recommended in patients with mild to moderate kidney disease. - Liver : CAUTION - Ambrican 5 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease.
