Virataz R 300mg/100mg Tablet is an anti-HIV medication. It works by interfering with an enzyme (protease), which is required by HIV-infected cells to make new viruses. This stops the production of new viruses.

Please consult your doctor. - Pregnancy : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Information regarding the use of Virataz R 300mg/100mg Tablet during pregnancy is not available. Please consult your doctor. - Breast feeding : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Information regarding the use of Virataz R 300mg/100mg Tablet during breastfeeding is not available. Please consult your doctor. - Driving : UNSAFE - Virataz R 300mg/100mg Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur. - Kidney : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Virataz R 300mg/100mg Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Virataz R 300mg/100mg Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor. - Liver : CAUTION - Virataz R 300mg/100mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Virataz R 300mg/100mg Tablet may be needed.
