Sofracort Eye/Ear Drops is a combination of two medicines: Framycetin and Dexamethasone. Framycetin is an antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth in the eye by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Dexamethasone is a steroid which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the eye red, swollen and itchy.
How to use
This medicine is for external use only.Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye/ear without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid or ear. Wipe off extra liquid.

Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby. - Driving : UNSAFE - Sofracort Eye/Ear Drops may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. Sofracort Eye/Ear Drops may cause dizziness (vertigo). Changes in your eyesight or muscle weakness may also happen. This may affect your driving ability. - Kidney : - No interaction found/established - Liver : - No interaction found/established
