Twinrix Paediatric Injection helps your body develop immunity by forming antibodies that your body needs for protection against the hepatitis A virus. It is given by an injection into a muscle only by a doctor or nurse. In Prevention of Hepatitis B infection Hepatitis B is an infection of the liver caused by the Hepatitis B virus (HBV). It can spread from person to person through blood, semen or other body fluids. It can cause mild illness lasting a few weeks or can lead to a serious, lifelong illness. Twinrix Paediatric Injection is given to prevent hepatitis B infection. It is advisable to consult your doctor for complete information regarding vaccination schedules.

Please consult your doctor. - Pregnancy : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Twinrix Paediatric Injection is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies. - Breast feeding : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Twinrix Paediatric Injection is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby. - Driving : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - It is not known whether Twinrix Paediatric Injection alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react. - Kidney : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Twinrix Paediatric Injection is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Twinrix Paediatric Injection may not be needed in these patients.
